The TBD location is in Sept, meaning that there will be fewer races pointing towards it and more pointing towards Kona (Tremblant, Kalmar, etc. Add in anyone who took time off from the sport or wanted to go during the pandemic. Anyone who was hoping to go next year specifically to Kona will wait and will now try in the same calendar year. There are already many athletes who have qualified but don't want to go to the alternative location.
